in the end both storyboards were rejected as it was not representing the story of the island which was supposed to be the main thing.

instead of focusing on the drawing flow, i tried to write a story using all the researches as raw materials.

the land represents fertility and, freedom, and a natural beauty. most important part to stabilise the electromagnetic field is on the legs where main character’s tribe lived. (the glandular system is dead).

the main character has a picture of her family living in prosperity on the glandular system, and she set out on an adventure to reconnect with her culture that she never knew. she visited the whole island and in the end, never found them but scraps of what used to be the civilisation. (on top of legs.)
